About

I am a Visual Arts Educator, originally from Miami, Florida who is currently living in Simpsonville, South Carolina. I work with students of all ages and skill-levels in a range of artistic mediums. I taught Elementary Art at a school in Clearwater, FL for four years before I moved to Greenville, where I am currently teaching students in grades 9 -12. 

 

I learned early on that creativity and expressive movement are critical to my well-being. My passion for the Arts began as a young girl, learning from my first teacher - my mother. As a an artist, I have studied as many art forms as possible, from Visual Arts to Dance, Theater, Literature and Art History. While I enjoy experimenting with new processes, techniques, and materials, my body of work predominantly consists of drawing, painting and printmaking.

Teaching Visual Art, as a profession particularly suits me as a lifelong learner myself who is constantly evolving. The more I teach, the more I realize that I have yet to learn. I would not wish it any other way. I enjoy growing and improving with my students as a person, an artist and as an educator who prioritizes high quality learning experiences and relationships as a means to success in and out of the classroom.
